Set up Your API Key

Follow these steps to set up your API key for ArborChat:

1. Sign In or Register

• Visit our web platform and log in to your account.

• If you don’t have an account, log in with your Google or Facebook account, or create a new one.

2. Subscribe to a Plan

• After logging in, navigate to the Pro button to view the pricing plan.

• Choose and subscribe to either the Standard or Pro plan based on your needs.

3. Access My Account

• Once subscribed, click on My Account on the dashboard.

4. Create an API Key

• In the ArborChat API section, locate the API Key Management tab and click +Create API Key.

5. Set an API Key Name

• Enter a unique and descriptive name for your API key (e.g., "Excel Integration" or "ArborChat Test").

6. Copy and Save the API Key

• After the API key is generated, copy the key and store it securely.

• Important: This will be the only time the full key is visible.

• Paste the key into the required field in the ArborChat add-in setup within Excel.

Important Notes

• Ensure you select the appropriate subscription plan before creating an API key.

• Do not share your API key with others to avoid unauthorized access.

• If you lose your API key, you will need to revoke it and generate a new one in the API Key Management section.
